As President of Pekron Consulting, Dan is often called upon for his tremendous depth of knowledge and resolution capabilities in compliance related issues. He has serviced such notable clients as: United Parcel Service, ARAMARK, Kraft Foods, General Mills, U.S. Steel & ArcelorMittal. Dan is a seasoned Safety Professional with over thirty years of experience. Dan is the former President of the American Society of Safety Professionals-Greater Calumet Chapter and is very well respected in Northwest Indiana. Dan managed a variety of projects and services including: asbestos operations and maintenance activities, laboratory and analytical support, environmental training coordination, and various database environmental inventories.
In addition to technical responsibilities Dan’s duties include the administration and supervision of Pekron personnel, manpower planning, field operations and project coordination. Because of Mr. Lavin’s expertise and experience he is often asked to participate on various environmental planning committees and is trusted to represent clients during OSHA contacts. Dan continues to provide the leadership and direction in the development and maintenance of strategies and programs to ensure regulatory compliance protecting clients’ liability and interests.
